| Somewhat informative | |
| I've been reading all the log home magazines, over the years. LHDI keeps getting thinner, and charge the same or more in price! I found this magazine to be somewhat informative, but I feel Country's Best is the best one out there! |

| Catering to the wealthy | |
| This magazine is OK, but it has the same problem that they all do. They all show homes built by wealthy people. A few months ago, they had a small home special issue. The smallest home shown was about 2400 square feet. The average working couple would call this a large home. I am bored with reading about 3000 square feet or bigger homes that are vacation homes or second homes. I am in the process of finishing my own log home and at 2000 square feet, I consider it a mansion. My wife and I will be broke for many years paying it off and it is our only home. I want a log home magazine that shows people like myself who struggle to acheive the dream of owning a log home. I have killed myself doing as much work as I can myself to save money. The people in this magazine usually hire someone to do everything. One article described a couple who had the entire home built turnkey and never even saw it until it was entirely completed. This never never land side of building and owning a log home as a novelty is stale. Show the log homes of working class people who struggle to make their dreams come true and actually sweat to fulfill their goals. I will not be renewing my subscription. |

| Best magazine in my opinion! | |
| I love this magazine- they seem to be focused on the affordable log home design aspect, not the mega homes. I purchased some older copies of from Amazon and found them to be very interesting and provide timeless information for log home lovers. |

| I have subscriptions to all the log and timber magazines and have purchased every book I can find on the subject. This is by far the most useful resource I have been able to find. |
