I read a post where the cost of log home learning
seminars was mentioned. Do all log home companies charge
for their seminars or do some of them do them for free?

It seems to be a trend, of log home companies charging you to learn about their product.  Like I said that is like walmart, kmart, sears, etc...  charging you to walk through their doors.  A log home manufacturer is charging you to learn about their product in case you decide to purchase it.  I wouldn't do it!
