Cetol 1: Premium translucent exterior wood basecoat for Cetol 23 Plus. Can also be used alone or with other products.

Highly transparent; ensures optimum visibility of the wood grain, enhancing the appearance of the wood.

Wide color range.

Microporous; allows the wood to breathe.

Weather resistant.

Water repellent.

Contains fungicide to protect against surface fungi.

Protects wood from ultraviolet rays.

Easy application.

Simple maintenance.

Normally used as the first and possible second coat for the Cetol 1 - Cetol 23 Plus system. May also be used on its own as a 3-coat system for specific purposes. (Refer to the Sikkens Product Application Guide for details.)

Specifications
Application	Long-haired, natural-bristle brush. Spray or roller not recommended.
Coverage	(approximate) - Smooth Wood: use one liter per 6-8.5 sq. m. (250-350 sq. ft per U.S. gallon) per coat. Rough-Sawn or Textured Wood: use one liter per 5-7.5 sq. m. (200-300 sq. ft. per U.S. gallon) per coat.
Dry Time	Touch dry after 3-4 hours, recoatable after 24 hours, at 20° C (68° F) and 65% relative humidity. At temperatures below 10° C (50° F) or conditions of high humidity, the drying time will be extended.
Colors	Natural Oak, Butternut, Dark Oak, Cedar, Antique Grey, Natural, Ebony,Teak, Mahogany, Blue Spruce, Olive Green, Natural Light
