WoodsCrest Log Homes is the premier builder of handcrafted, quality Log homes. Our beautiful log packages have been re-assembled throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Japan and South Korea. We have designed and delivered over 100 log homes in Colorado alone! Our log yard is located in 93 Mile House, British Columbia, Canada and is the largest in the area. Last year, we produced over 40 custom log homes and commercial buildings.
Our wall logs are massive, full-length Engelmann Spruce, Douglas Fir, Pine or Western Red Cedar logs with a 12"-14" average mean diameter, with larger or smaller logs available. All live cut logs are winter cut, air dried for six to twelve months and hand-peeled. Upon request, we can also provide dead standing logs. We are a member in good standing with TPI (Timber Products Inspection, Inc.) and provide grading and stamping of every log in our packages. We typically use in excess of 70% "premium" graded logs (the highest grade) throughout our log packages as opposed to most of our competitors who reserve the costly premium logs only for the structural components. We offer two log finishes, bare peeled, and skip peeled. We offer several corner notches: Norwegian Shrink-Fit, Interscribed Flared Ends, Saddle, Dovetail and Diamond wedge. Styles include, Scribe-Fit, Hand-Hewn square logs and Full-chink.
