Located along the Cartecay River in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia, Fireside Log Homes began operations in early 1984 with a deep commitment to produce the highest quality log homes and log home materials available at very competitive prices. The first building manufactured was a model that was featured in the Atlanta Spring Home Show and stands today on the site of our mill and sales office in Ellijay. Today thousands of homes have been delivered throughout the U.S. Our export business now includes homes and country inns in Central America and Japan.
FIRESIDE has selected Eastern white pine, Western red cedar, Spruce and Alaskan Hemlock as the species for creating our homes. The characteristics of these woods enable them to perform in the long term as the most desirable, low maintenance materials that can be used to create log homes. Our high grading standards insure you the best of the best. The region surrounding our mill produces some of the highest quality white pine in the nation. The bottom line for Fireside is stated in the first paragraph of our mission statement - "Fireside Log Homes will strive for the highest level of customer satisfaction, both external and internal, delivering the greatest value of any company in the log home industry, while maintaining the highest level of integrity."
