Since 1976, Centennial Log Homes has specialized in handcrafted log homes and handcrafted log post & beam homes. Centennial uses hand peeled, High Mountain, winter harvested Engelmann Spruce, Pine and Fir timber. We use only the highest quality hand selected logs which are available in our standard 12-14" average diameters [larger available upon request], full length [up to 50'] with no visible butt joints. Centennial log homes are skillfully hand crafted by professional logsmiths. Each home is assigned a lead logsmith and crew who work only on your project from beginning to end. This personal attention continues, as our Master Logsmith directs the re-assembly of the log package at your site.
As you may know, we completely fabricate the log package at the yard, disassemble the home and load the logs onto semi tractor trailer[s]. When the logs arrive at your job site, they are lifted off the truck by a crane, and are installed in the exact reverse order in which they were loaded. The house will fit perfectly, and why not, it has already been completely pre-built. Typically a 2,500 sq ft home will be assemble at your homesite in two days.
Centennial is proud to offer the services of our talented in-house custom design team, providing professional construction drawings meeting the Uniform Building Code and National Energy Codes throughout the United States. Our creative designers can modify one of our stock plans to fit your needs, or draw a completely new cleansheet design from your ideas and needs in your log home.
The hand crafting of our log homes is quite labor intensive and time consuming, so we do have a limited annual production. To assure you the delivery date you prefer, please contact us several months ahead of time to reserve your spot in our production schedule.
We do have a variety of handcrafted log homes and post & beam homes around the Columbia Falls, Montana area that are in different stages of completion and available for viewing. And, as a special offer to clients who are interested in coming to see us in Kalispell, we will credit the cost of your plane ticket or documented fuel costs [up to $1000.00] towards your log package purchase.
